Rainfall:
Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Punjab, fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: This was appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and East Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.5°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of January 16: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 16: Mainly clear sky. Fog till forenoon. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
