Shooting of ‘Shrimaan Chanakya’ begins on PU campus

Panjab University came alive with “Shrimaan Chanakya” today. For those of you who are wondering what the expression is all about, here are some more details.
Sikander Bharti, the director of films like Akshay Kumar-starer Sainik and
Govinda-starer Ghar Ka Chiraag has found an ideal location in the Panjab University sports ground to shoot his next film, titled
"Shrimaan Chanakya", which has none other than Amrish Puri in the main role.

Mauritians dance kathak in city

Blending Indian classical traditions with contemporary styles, the visiting Mauritian ballet company put up a delightful show at Baba Makhan Shah Lobana auditorium this evening.
Members of Indigo Ocean, the Mauritian ballet company, held the audience captive, as they made a delightful presentation for the Indian Council of Cultural Relations at Baba Makhan Shah Lobana auditorium, Sector 30, Chandigarh, on Wednesday.

Neo-natal jaundice treatable
Mohali, January 14
Neo-natal jaundice is a treatable condition if detected early, but may cause severe brain damage leading to mental retardation. This was stated by Dr
G.S. Cheema, a private practitioner in the township, here today. Dr
Cheema was addressing mediapersons relating the case of a child born
on January 2 and suffering from acute jaundice.

PGI team inspects facilities at GMCH
