PRTC privatisation opposed as
losses dip

Since the PRTC have been reduced by Rs 4 crore this financial year, it was not a fit case for
disinvestment, said its Chairman Mr Ved Parkash Gupta, here today. Disagreeing with the government’s move to disinvest the corporation, Mr Gupta said efforts should instead be made to minimise the losses by increasing the bus fare by six paisa per
kilometre.

Busy day at Wagah
