Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in rest of the region. the chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Uttaranchal: Pantnagar 2 and Tehri 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, appreciably above normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the reigon. the lowest temperature in the plains was 2.0°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).
