Big traffic bandobast for annual trade jamboree

The Delhi Traffic Police have made elaborate traffic arrangements for the Trade Fair this year from November 14-27 at Pragati Maidan. As the fair is likely to attract a large number of people from across the city and also cause considerable traffic congestion on roads, the traffic police have identified a parking space in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for those who wish to attend the fair. Special arrangements have been made to ferry those people with the help of special DTC buses.

Irregularities in tax collection angers residents

The Special Cell is claimed to have averted a dacoity by arresting five persons from Nand Nagari. The sleuths also claimed to have seized a country-made pistol along with two cartridges, two knives and iron rods from their possession.

One killed as tempo turns turtle
New Delhi, November 12
One person was killed and 42 were injured this afternoon when a Tata tempo overturned on the Punjabi Bagh flyover. The victim was identified as Ram Asray (35), resident of Kirti Nagar. The injured were admitted to different hospitals in the city.
