Rainfall:
Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures (Past 24 hours change): Minimum temperatures fell in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.5°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 8: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 8: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 15°C.
