Rainfall:
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, many places in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and isolated places in Haryana. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Tajewala 11, Himachal Pradesh: Berthin 11, Guler and Ghamroor 8 each, Jhandutta 7, Sujanpur Tira 6, Kahu, Nagrotasurian, Paonta and Sundernagar 5 each, Rampurbushar 3, Arki, Nahan, Pandoh and Sunnibhajji 2 each and Bhuntar, Kasol, Mand, Nadaun and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 8, Basoli 6 and Katra 3, Punjab: Nangal 5, Ranjitsagar Dam 2 and Ludhiana 1, Uttaranchal: Hardwar 10, Dehradun 6, Uttarkashi 5, Pantnagar 4, Marora 2 and Tehri 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 25: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
