Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab and east Rajasthan, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Panipat 1, Himachal Pradesh: Bangana 4 and Dharamsala and Una 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 1, Punjab: Ludhiana 3 and Adampur 2, east Rajasthan: Lalsot 3, Rahuwas 2 and Angai, Bandikui, Behror and Radia 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Bani, Raebareilly and Sultanpur 6 each, Varanasi AP 2 and Bansi, Bhatpurwaghat and Gorakhpur 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 1.
