Rainfall:
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in west Rajasthan, at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Haryana — Bhiwani 1; Himachal Pradesh — Solangnala 2 and Dadahu 1; Punjab — Adampur 5; East Rajasthan — Ajmer 3; Bisalpurdam and Nandsamond 2 each and Rashmi and Rajasamond 1 each; West Rajasthan — Gudadam 15; Balotra; Dasuri; Raniwara; Sindri and Sanchore 7 each; Godra Road and Jalore 6 each; Betu and Sardarshahar 5 each;

Ahore, Bhopalgarh, Hemawas, Marwar and Pali 3 each and Barmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur 1 each; East Uttar Pradesh — Bansi 3 and Dalmau 2; West Uttar Pradesh — Bareilly 1 and Uttaranchal — Haripur 10, Bausan 9, Dehradun 8, Uttarkashi 6 and Joshimath 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 28, 2003: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
