Breakthrough in burglary cases, 10 arrested

The joint operations by the police of Chandigarh and SAS Nagar seemed to have worked this evening as the police claimed to arrest 10 persons who were part of a 12-member gang involved in the recent serial burglaries in the city and SAS Nagar.

Video camera stolen from car

During the past 24-hours two cases of thefts from cars have been reported. Lt. Cdr. U.S Thakhur, Naval Unit, NCC CPC Hostel No 2, Sector 6, reported with the police that a video camera and a bag had been stolen from his car that was parked in Sector 17 yesterday.
