Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, fell in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. Departures: These were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, below normal in Haryana, Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.4C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 12: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 12: Mainly clear sky. Likely to become partly cloudy towards night. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 06°C.
