New Delhi, December 8
Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: These were appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan, above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.8°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 10: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 10: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 08°C.
