Departure: They were above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was
36.8°Crecorded at Jalore (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.
