Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, fell in east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.8°Crecorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.1°C recorded at Hisar (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 26: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 26: Mainly clear sky. Slight fall in day and night temperatures. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 30°C and 16°C respectively.
