Tourist flow to India rises
New Delhi, October 24
The negative travel advisories of several countries notwithstanding, tourist traffic to India has showed a definite upswing since last year, Tourism Minister Jagmohan said here on Wednesday. During the past seven months domestic traffic clocked an increase of 30 per cent, foreign tourist inflow registered a growth of 17.5 per cent this month as compared to the corresponding period last year, Mr Jagmohan added.
