Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east and west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Gohana 5, Ganaur 4, Hodal and Sonepat 3 each, Ayanagar (Delhi) and Julana 2 each and Ballabhgarh, Dadri, Delhi Ridge, Faridabad, Palwal and Rohtak 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Rajgarh 3, Nagrotasurian and Rampur Bushar 2 each and Bharwain, Dharamsala, Ghamroor, Sujanpurtira and Shimla 1 each. East Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya and Sultanpur 5 each, Chhatnag, Ghazipur and Jaunpur 4 each, Balrampur 3, Ballia, Birdghat, Basti, Chandradeepghat, Gorakhpur, Katerniaghat, Mukhlishpur, Raebarelli and Varanasi 2 each and Allahabad, Bani, Bansi, Bahraich, Fatehgarh, Hardoi, Mirzapur, Kakardharighat, Palliakalan, Regoli, Shardanagar and Turtipar 1 each. West Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 5. Uttaranchal: Mukteshwar 5, Joshimath 3 and Banbasa, Hardwar, Marora, Pantnagar and Rudraprayag 1 each. East Rajasthan: Shaau 3, Bhushawar and Bari 2 each and Deeg, Helena, Kumher, Kathumar, Mandalgarh, Mavali, Navalgarh, Sapau and Urmilsagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 13: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Punjab and east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
