Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 6 and Dharamsala 2, east Rajasthan: Baswa, Bhopalsagar, Dausa, Jhalawar and Vagandam 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Chillaghat 5, Dalmau 4 and Allahabad 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 5, Hamirpur and Shahjina 2 each and Agra and Mohana 1 each and Uttaranchal: Marora 5 and Banbasa 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 27: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in east Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
