Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Chhachhrauli, Jagadhari, Nilokheri, Thanesar and Tajewala 7 each, Dadupur 6, Naraingarh 3 and Ambala AP 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 13, Kumarsain 5, Dhundhi, Nahan and Sunibhajji 2 each and Berthin, Pandoh, Pachhad, Solangnala, Sangrah, Shimla and Sundernagar 1 and Uttaranchal: Joshimath, Marora and Rudraprayag 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 7: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
