Virbhadra
for CBI probe into scam Shimla, August 5 He said it was shocking that but Mr Dhumal’s nephew and son had been allotted petrol stations. What could a common man expect from a chief minister who was himself seeking such petty personal favours. It also reflected the kind of leadership the BJP was providing to the state and the country. The “party with a difference” was steeped in corruption form head to toe and the mere cancellation of the allotment of petrol stations and LPG agencies would not suffice. A CBI probe was required to expose the persons behind the scam and the functioning of the government. The former Chief Minister said the innocent people of the hill state had been suffering under the corrupt, incompetent and inefficient Dhumal government for the past four years. The Congress had even submitted a charge sheet to the Governor mentioning specific instances of corruption and demanding a CBI probe into the charges. |
