Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 4 and Katra 2 and Punjab: Nangal 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 12: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Isolated duststorms or thunderstorms are likely in west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 12: Mainly clear sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas.
