Monsoon has been active in Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm. are: Haryana: Tajewala 9, Chhachhrauli 3, Jagadhari 2 and Ayanagar (Delhi) 1, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 11, Bangana and Nahan 2 each and Kasauli and Pandoh 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4, east Uttar Pradesh: Regoli 6, Basti 5, Fatehgarh 4, Katerniaghat, Mohana and Palliakalan 3 each, Birdghat 2 and Gorakhpur 1, west Uttar Pradesh: Moradabad 4, Dabri and Mathura 2 each and Uttaranchal: Haripur 19, Bausan 10, Mukteshwar 4, Pantanagar 2 and Joshimath and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 22: Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Haryana, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of July 22: Light to moderate rain will occur at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
