Six CRPF jawans killed in Arunachal
Itanagar, July 20
At least six CRPF jawans were killed and an equal number injured when their vehicle was ambushed by suspected underground militants at Pongkong, about 25 km from Khonsa, the headquarters of Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh today. Official sources said here that the extremists ambushed a truck in which a CRPF platoon was travelling to Khonsa. UNI

9 hurt in Karachi bus blast
Karachi, July 20
A bomb exploded on a public bus in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi today, seriously wounding at least nine persons, emergency workers said. The small bomb, which was believed to have been left under a seat on the bus above the fuel tank, went off as the crowded vehicle passed near Jama Cloth Market in a busy commercial area of the city centre.
