Monsoon has been vigorous in Punjab and Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, at many places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh, Rania and Sirsa — 2 each and Chandigarh and Dabwali — 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Una 4, Bangana and Kangra 3 each, Baijnath, Mandi and Nahan 2 each and Berthin, Bharwain, Bhunter, Nadaun, Nagrotasurian, Pandoh, Paonta, Sujanpur Tira, Sangrah, Shimla, and Sundernagar 1 each, Punjab: Nawashahar 16, Mukerian 10, Anandpur Sahib, Batala and Halwara 8 each, Ludhiana 7, Balachaur 6, Amritsar and Nakodar 5 each, Dasuya 4, Jagraon and Moga 2 each and Ajnala, Nagnal and Talwandi Bhai 1 each, Ghambhiridam 4, Bilara and Nimbahera 3 each, Bhopalsagar, Badesar, Begu, Chawalidam, Chhotisadari and Kapason 2 each and Chanda Ka Talab and Chittorgarh 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 6: Rain or thundershowers will occur at most places in south west Rajasthan, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, rest of Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi. Forecast valid until the morning of July 6: Light to moderate rain will occur at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two ways: No large change.
