Monsoon has been active in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. 

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm. are : Haryana: Chhachhrauli and Jagadhari 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Jogindernagar 6, Dharampur 5, Shimla 3, Guler, Paonta and Sunibhaji 2 each and Ghamroor, Karsog, Kasol, Nadaun, Sangrah and Theog 1 each, Punjab: Nakodar and Zira 1 each, Rajasthan: Banwargarh Colony, Mahuva, Radia and Umedsagar 3 each, Baran 2 and Jaipur and Sharikhai 1 each, Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 15, Basti 13, Mukhlishpur 7, Chhatnag 5, Chandradeepghat, Kakardharighat and Regoli 4 each, Allahabad, Dalmau, Kanpur and Sultanpur 3 each, Birdghat, Ghazipur,
