New Delhi, June 1 Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana and Punjab, rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. The highest temperature in the region was 43.8 C recorded at Suratgarh A.P. (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of June 3: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan. Thundersqualls/thunderstorms are likely at a few places with severe thunderstorms accompanied with heavy rain at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Thundersqualls are also likely at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. |
