marks R-Day CHANDIGARH, Jan 26 — Traditional gaiety and enthusiasm marked Republic Day celebrations in the union territory amid elaborate security arrangements today. Mr Jagdish Sagar, Adviser to the UT Administrator, unfurled the national flag and took the salute at an impressive march-past by contingents of the Chandigarh police, NCC cadets, and school children at Parade Ground here. The school children
presented colourful impressive cultural programmes on the
occasion. |
