JAMMU, Jan 2 (PTI) — Seven persons, including three militants, have been killed in different militancy-related incidents and four top militants arrested in Rajouri district of Jammu since last night, official sources said here today.

Three militants were killed early today in an encounter with the security forces in the hills of Moria Bhatia, the soures said, adding three AK-47 rifles and some explosives were recovered from the encounter site.

Militants also killed two persons in Rajouri late last night.

Meanwhile, the Rajouri police arrested four top militants at Daret and seized large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives, including one grenade launcher, one grenade box, four kg RDX and Rs 1500 in Pak currency.

The security forces arrested a self-styled chief coordinator of the Harka-tul Jehad Islamia outfit, Sajad Ahmad Lone alias Bita Moulvi, from the Chanapora area of Srinagar yesterday and seized some arms and ammunition.

Another militant, belonging to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen outfit, Riyaz Ahmad Beig alias Riyaz Guru, was nabbed from the Chamerdoori Zadibal in downtown Srinagar.

The security forces raided two militant hideouts in Kupwara and Anantnag and recovered two AK rifles and some rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, militants gunned down Attaullah Khan near Kali-Knori in Poonch district yesterday.
