Delhi heads for polls as parties say can't form govt
New Delhi, November 3
Delhi is likely to witness a fresh electoral battle after the BJP, Congress and AAP on Monday told Lt Governor Najeeb Jung that no party was in a position to form the government. Jung is expected to send a recommendation to the President for dissolving the Assembly soon.

Kanwar Pal Gurjar is Haryana Speaker

The 13th Haryana Assembly today ”unanimously” chose Jagadhari MLA Kanwar Pal Gurjar as its Speaker on the first day of the maiden session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha which began amidst camaraderie, handshakes, bear hugs, lofty talks of “idealism” and a commitment to adopt healthy parliamentary practice even as the House expressed unanimity over the need for longer House sittings.
