City swimmer proves her mettle

Once again, Kawalpreet Kaur, swimmer from the city, proved her mettle by clinching two medals in the All-India Inter-varsity Swimming Championship held from October 25 to 29 at Guru Nanak Dev University,
Amritsar. Kawalpreet clinched bronze medals in the 100m butterfly and 50m butterfly events. Earlier, Kawalpreet won the overall trophy of Panjab University by winning 16 gold medals in the Inter-College Swimming Championship of Panjab University.
