 Bahadurjeet re-elected Ropar press club chief : Bahadurjeet Singh was unanimously elected as the president of the Rupnagar Press Club for the fourth consecutive term on Sunday. Others office-bearers elected include Vijay Sharma, senior vice-president; Satnam Singh Satti, vice-president; Satish Jagota, secretary; Kailash Ahuja, joint secretary, and Surjit Singh Gandhi, treasurer.

Panchkula
 43-year-old man missing: A 43-year-old man of Sector 15, Panchkula, allegedly went missing after he had gone to pay the water bill at the industrial area. According to the police, the victim, Mahesh Gupta, was depressed after his shops were gutted in fire last year. The police has registered a case under Section 365 of the IPC at the Sector 14 police station.
