Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi 2.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab and Uttaranchal, rose in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 5.5ºC recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 27: Isolated rain/snow is likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
