‘Kiss Kis Ko’ stars visit city
Ludhiana, October 26
The highly charged brigade of the “Band of Boys” were here in the city today to promote their Hindi film, “Kiss Kis Ko.”
Claiming the debut film to be a "total family movie", the group members — Karan Oberoi, Siddhartha Haldipur, Shireen Verghese, Chaitanya Bhonsle and Aparna Kumar — were critical of vulgarity in Hindi songs and films.
"Shock value has assumed importance today which is why we get to see a large number of videos offering sheer vulgarity," said Karan Oberoi, adding that "this is a phase that will soon pass away".

Four of a family killed in accident
Khanna, October 26
Four members of a family were killed and three injured in an accident near Bija village last night. The injured were referred to a Ludhiana hospital.
According to information, Vinod Kumar, a resident of Jalandhar, and his family were going to Hardwar when their Indica car (PB-8-AE-9933) rammed into a truck (PB-4-2683) near Bija village. Four persons, including a woman and a child, died on the spot.
Three snatching incidents in a span of two hours on Monday evening within two-km radius of the city have once again exposed the inefficiency of the local police.
The city residents are fast losing faith in the police which insists on having details of servants and tenants rather than being more vigilant against the criminal elements.
