Dasehra festivities in full swing
The boom of firecrackers and the symbolic destruction of “evil” by the “virtuous” marks the sacred festival of Dasehra celebrated in traditional style in the holy city of Amritsar. Preparations for the festival started a month back. Now, the festivities are in full swing. “It’s time to enjoy. Children particularly find the festivities very engaging.
