Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana and Punjab, below normal in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 35.4°C recorded at Bikaner (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.4°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 19: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 19: Mainly clear sky. maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 30°C and 18°C, respectively.
