5 city students shine at Kanpur ‘tech fest’

Five students of Class IX of Vivek High School have won the second prize in Lego Robotics Mindstroms in the Tech Kriti 2004 held at Kanpur between February 26 and 29. The students were Arjun

DC holds meeting with school
committee

A meeting of the management committee of Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mauli, was held under the chairmanship of the DC, Ms Satwanti Ahlawat, today.
Presiding over the meeting, Ms Ahlawat directed the Civil Surgeon, Dr Satvir
Chaudhary, to depute a doctor at the school every week for the check-up of the
students.

Hooda's daughter-in-law granted security

Acting on a petition filed by Dr Geeta Grewal, daughter-in-law of Haryana Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Mr Justice Mehtab Singh Gill of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today directed the state of Haryana to provide round-the-clock security cover to her. The order will remain in force till September
30.
