Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Bang and Patsio (Himachal Pradesh) each recorded 2 cm of precipitation.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures, fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, fell in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in Punjab. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of Dec 13th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of Dec 13th: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 10°C.
