Thunder activity has been reported at a few/many places in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in West Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: maximum temperatures fell appreciably in west Rajasthan, fell in Haryana and east Rajasthan, rose in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and East Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.5°C recorded at Allahabad.

Forecast valid until the morning of 14th: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in East Uttar Pradesh. Isolated thundersqualls are likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 14th: Generally cloudy sky with thundery development and light rain accompanied with squall in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 36°C.
