A survey of buildings in all blocks of the city came to an end today with 32 teams submitting their reports to the MC. Around 14 teams have asked for three more days on the plea that their blocks were too big.

Youth commits suicide

A 19- year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in Sarpanch Colony, Jamalpur area. Rohit’s mother Seema Devi said he was upset and was not talking to anybody in the house. Last evening, he locked himself in the room and today when he did not open the door, his parents along with the help of area resident broke open the door and found Rohit hanging from the ceiling fan.
