KK Sharma to be Goa Chief Secy

The Adviser to the UT Administrator, KK Sharma, has been posted as the Chief Secretary of
Goa. He will replace B Vijayan, who retires on September 30. A 1983 batch IAS officer, Sharma had joined the UT in April 2011. The formal orders of Sharma’s new place of posting are expected in a day or two.

The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) earned a revenue of around Rs 71 crore at an auction of sites held here today.

Navratras. The assembly commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer. The dance drama was an amalgamation of the Nritya Natika on Durga Mahishasur Vadh of the east and Garba and Dandiya of the west. A special dance performance “Dhunuchi nach” was also showcased by the students.
