26 new community centres:Health Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani said on Sunday that 26 new community health centres were being constructed at a cost of 149.33 crore in the state. A sum of Rs 125.52 crore had been already released for the purpose, Jyani added. Presiding over a meeting to review construction work of community health centres, Jyani directed officials to speed up the work.

Two killed in accident:Anita and her four-year-old son Vansh were killed in a road accident on Sunday. They belonged to Una in Himachal Pradesh. Anita's husband Charanjit was injured in the accident and he was admitted to the BBMB hospital. by which they were going to Tarn Taran overturned and fell into a roadside ditch on the national highway near
Chiherru. The accident occurred when Tejinderpal lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a cyclist.
