High drama during medical representatives’ protest
Ludhiana, August 19
High drama was witnessed today when members of the Punjab Medical Representatives Association
(PMRA) staged a dharna and tried to submit a memorandum to the officials of a pharmaceutical company who were staying in the local hotels. More than 200 medical representatives raised slogans outside a hotel in the morning.

8 diagnosed with diarrhoea

Eight cases of diarrhoea were reported from a labour colony, near the Omax site, at Thakkarwal today. Of eight patients, two were referred to the Civil Hospital.

Tipsy ambulance driver runs over pedestrians

A tipsy ambulance driver lost control over his vehicle and ran over pedestrians in the Janakpuri area here last night. Husain Ali (62) was killed while Kishori Lal, Nirbhay Singh, Lotan Ram and Ghan Shyam suffered critical injuries.
Youth attacks women staff with pepper spray
