Bus operators oppose the move

Finally, LIT conducts draw

The Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) today conducted a draw of lots for the allotment of residential plots to nine locally displaced persons
(LDPs). In the wake of a controversy and the draw, scheduled to be taken out earlier on July 14, 2014, having been stayed by the Punjab Government, the Engineer-in-Chief, Local Government, Manmohan Singh, attended the draw.
