Plumber dupes MC of Rs 5,040
Ludhiana, June 17
The Assistant Engineer O and M, Zone D has written to station house officer (SHO), Sadar police, to register an FIR against their registered plumber, who had duped Municipal Council of Rs 5,040. Besides, going against the rules, the plumber, Rahul Kapur, dug the newly constructed road.

Peddler held
Jagraon, June 17
The Jagraon police have allegedly arrested one drug peddler and seized 60 grams of drug powder. The accused was identified as Jasmail Singh, a resident of Abbupura village, near Sidhwan Bet.
