Singer Zil-e-Huma dies in Pakistan 
Lahore: Singer Zil-e-Huma, daughter of legendary singer Noor Jehan, died here on Friday at the age of 70. She was suffering from various medical complications due to diabetes. Huma was being treated at the Doctors Hospital in Lahore where she breathed her last.

Lahore: Singer Zil-e-Huma, daughter of legendary singer Noor Jehan, died here on Friday at the age of 70. She was suffering from various medical complications due to diabetes. Huma was being treated at the Doctors Hospital in Lahore where she breathed her last. Huma was the youngest of the three children of Noor Jehan and director Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. Huma had established herself as a popular singer with melodious voice by singing mostly the remix of Noor Jehan's songs. TNS

Riyadh: Two Indians are among the 11 persons killed in a fire in a furniture workshop in Saudi Arabia's Capital Riyadh, a media report quoted an Indian embassy official as saying on Friday. The two Indians, Mohammad Waseemand and Alam Mohammad from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, respectively, died when the fire gutted a 600-sq. metre furniture factory in Badr district in Riyadh Monday, Arab News reported. Nairobi: Eight persons have been killed and over 70 wounded in two explosions in a busy market area in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, officials said on Friday. The National Disaster Operation Centre said the first blast occurred on a 14-seater matatu, or public minibus, and the second was inside Gikomba Market, situated to the east of Nairobi's central business district. Bangladesh ferry toll rises to 29
