Aroma murder
Eight accused get 8 yrs in jail

The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge KK Kareer today sentenced all the eight convicts to eight years imprisonment for killing a youth outside Aroma Hotel in Sector 22 on the night of January 12, 2012.

Despite 40 days since the beginning of the new academic session, the Education Department has failed to provide books of various subjects to government schoolchildren. Students of Class VIII of government model schools have still not received their English and social science books, while students across all classes are yet to receive Punjabi books.
