Brace for more power cuts

City residents, who have already started facing power cuts, should prepare themselves for more power outages. The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission has allowed the UT Electricity Department to impose rotational power cuts to meet the demand and supply gap in summer.

A day after a Nigerian was arrested with cocaine, the UT police today arrested two more Nigerian nationals who came to India on a business visa and were supplying drugs to youngsters outside discotheques and colleges.
