Kidnapped boy rescued

Panic spread after an 11-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped by a cyclist from Tajpur Road near Bharat Box factory this afternoon. As per the latest information provided by the area residents, the boy was spotted in an unconscious state on the roadside near Bhamia village. He was rushed to a hospital.
Ex-minister’s kin commits suicide

The 15-year-old girl, maternal granddaughter of former Health Minister and senior BJP leader Satpal Gosain, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her house in Dugri.
17-year-old boy stabbed to death

In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a group of snatchers near the Jalandhar Bypass area last night.
The victim has been identified as Sumit of Golden Vihar Colony.
