19-yr-old girl dies:
A 19-year-old girl on Tuesday died when she allegedly fell from a running bus near Ramgarh Sandhuan village in Lehragaga area. Parminder Singh, Station House Officer (SHO) of Lehragaga police station, said the girl was a student of BCA final year in Guru Tegh Bahadur College, Lehal Khurd. Ajaib Singh, the father of the deceased, said she fell down from the bus when its door accidentally opened. A case has been registered.Man killed in mishap:
The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed when the vehicle fell into a drain on the Dirba-Sangrur road on Monday. Four more persons were injured. 101 farmers court arrest: As many as 101 Kisan Sangharsh Committee members courted arrest at the Deputy Commissioner's office here on Tuesday.
