Employees protest
The non-teaching employees' union of Arya College protested against the alleged "anti-employees policies" of the state government on the campus on Saturday. The employees said they along with their colleagues from 150 private colleges in the state were being forced to hold dharnas and strike work as their demands were not being fulfilled. These demands include payment of arrears on the basis of pay parity and lifting the ban on appointments. On February 17 and 25, the employees will strike work.
