Northern Railways told to pay Rs 1.10 lakh 
Chandigarh, February 7
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed the Northern Railways to pay Rs 1 lakh to a complainant for stolen luggage. The forum has also asked the Railways to pay Rs 10,000 as damages for mental agony to the complainant.

Bansal flags off weekly express train to Indore

PU panel proposes fee hike

The Panjab University (PU) fee committee today proposed a fee hike of 10 per cent or Rs 10,000, whichever is more, for self-finance courses. For general courses, it proposed to raise the fee by 20 per cent.
