Northern Railways told to pay Rs 1.10 lakh
Chandigarh, February 7
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed the Northern Railways to pay Rs 1 lakh to a complainant for stolen luggage. The forum has also asked the Railways to pay Rs 10,000 as damages for mental agony to the complainant.
Bansal flags off weekly express train to Indore

Member of Parliament and former Union Railways Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal today flagged off the Chandigarh-Indore Express, a weekly train, here at 7.10 pm today. He also inaugurated the escalators, which were made functional at the railway station for convenience of passengers.

PU panel proposes fee hike
