2 bikers killed in mishap: Two persons were killed while one sustained injuries in a collision between the motorcycle they were on and a truck near Kharoda village on the Sirhind-Patiala road. The victims have been identified as Mohan Lal (28) and Avtar Singh (27) of Araimajra village in Mullepur. The injured has been admitted to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala. A case has been registered against truck driver Subhash Gir of Sasa Gujran village in Patiala, who managed to escape.

The police have arrested three persons after recovering 40 gm smack and 2,300 sedative capsules from their possession. Senior Superintendent of Police Gurmeet Singh Chauhan said the arrests were made in separate incidents. The accused are Jaswinder Singh of Aluna village in

Two killed in accidents: Two persons were killed in as many accidents at Morinda near here on Monday.
